IWM-LR5 is a wM-BUS and LoRaWAN radio module suitable for the consumption data transmission and applicable to the single jet GSD8-I water meters.
In addition to information on current consumption, it allows to detect different types of attempted fraud against the meter, prolonged operation at maximum flow rate (Q4) and the presence of a potential water leak downstream of the meter.
The IWM-LR5 has been designed to allow data reading without on-site interventions, in walk-by or AMR (automatic meter reading) mode, in compliance with the wM-Bus standard. It also supports reading using Long Range LoRa radio technology, in accordance with the LoRaWAN standard, making the device integrable into multiservice networks.
