The wired M-BUS EN13757-3 transmission protocol is used for the remote data reading of any kind of metering devices (electricity, water, gas, etc.). An M-Bus network allows up to 250 different devices to be wired together and data reading of each one of them through a single data concentrator. The data concentrator allows remote reading or/easy data download to a PC. B METERS M-BUS modules allow direct connection of the water meters to an M-Bus network, thus eliminating the need of pulse emitting and M-BUS signal converting devices. The solution allows savings over the quantity of equipment used, a dramatic assembly time reduction and a significant installation simplification.
The wireless M-BUS EN13757-4 transmission protocol is used for the remote data reading of any kind of metering devices (electricity, water, gas, etc.) that operate with this standard protocol also allowing the use of devices and accessories manufactured by third party companies. The solution is extremely easy and simple to use and allows to start from the purchasing of a simple pre-equipped meter to then gradually develop the system in its entirety.
B METERS is part of the OMS-Group, a group of Companies manufacturing-Bus electronic devices for the collection and transmission of data recorder by measuring instruments such as water meters, heat meters, heat cost allocators, gas and electricity meters, using the M-Bus wireless open communication standard.
The Open Metering System (OMS) is the only communication specification in Europe which sets the purpose the integration of the measurement instruments for different medium ensuring their interoperability and functionality in the future providing state of the art levels of security and data protection.
